

Mat 54 : Hondekop 

The coachunits of Mat 54 have the nickname 'hondekop' (dogface) because of the shape of the nose.
The coachunits were built from 1954 and travel in 2 and 4 coach units.
The four coachunit of mat 54 has a length of 99,26 meters, a total weight of 213 tons
and a continues rating power of 984kW.
The two coachunit of mat 54 has a length of 51,12 meters, a total weight of 110 tons
and a continues rating power of 492kW.
The maximum speed is 140km/h. 


Mat 57 : BENELUX 

The appearance of the BENELUX coachunits are similar to the Mat 54 coachunits. They were partialy in
NS and partialy in NMBS service.
The BENELUX coacheunits were built in a two coach configuration.
The BENELUX coachunit has a length of 51,14 meters, a total weight of 115 tons and a continues rating
power of about 490kW.



Plan V : Mat 64 in green livery 

The coachunits of Plan V were built from 1964.
Of the Plan V type, about 240 two coachunits were built, but there are also the four coachunits (Plan T).
In the four coach configuration a coachunit of mat 64 (Plan T) has a length of 101,20 meters, a total weight
of 168 tons and a continues rating power of 1016kW.
In the two coach configuration the coachunit of mat 64 (Plan V) has a length of 52,14 meters, a total weight
of 88 tons and a continues rating power of 508kW.
The maximum speed is 140km/h. 



Plan Y : Citypendel 

The Sprinter thanks his name to the acceleration and breaking capacities on short pieces of tracks.
The Sprinter is built since 1975 in a configuration of two and three coach units (Citypendel and Sprinter3)
The Sprinter3 (the three coach configuration) has a length of 78,69 meters, a total weight of 144 tons
and a continues rating power of 1320kW.
The Citypendel (the two coach configuration) has a length of 52,20 meters, a total weight of 110 tons
and a continues rating power of 1320kW.
The maximum speed is 125km/h. 

SM'90 : Railhopper 
The railhopper should replace the Plan V and Plan T coach units, due to a lot of problems, no railhopper
coach units will be ordered.
The railhopper has a length of 52,34 meters, a total weight of 98 tons and a continues rating power of 1200kW.
The maximum speed is 160km/h. 

The Koploper got it's name because the passengers can walk through the nose of the coach unit, when
two or more units are coupled.
The Koploper is a 3 coach configuration and has a length of 80,60 meters, a total weight of 144 tons and a continues rating power of 1260kW.
The Koploper4 is a 4 coach configuration and has a length of 107,10 meters, a total weight of 192 tons and a continues rating power of 1890kW.
The maximum speed is 160km/h. 


DDIRM : Regiorunner in 3 coach configuration 



DDIRM : Regiorunner in 4 coach configuration 

The Regiorunner was introduced in 1994 , there are two versions, a 3 and a 4 coach configuration.
The only difference between these configurations is the extra coach without motor.
The Regiorunner is a double deck coachunit wich has standard airconditioning.
The Regiorunner in threecoach configuration has a length of 81 meters, a total weight of 176 tons and
a continues rating power of 1608kW.
The Regiorunner in fourcoach configuration has a length of 107 meters, a total weight of 226 tons and
a continues rating power of 1608kW.
The maximum speed is 160km/h.
