The eloc series 1000 is the first serial production of the dutch railways, the NS had a total of 10 of these locomotives.
PictureThe eloc series 1100 were built between 1950 and 1956 by Alsthom. 60 locomotives of the series 1100 were built for the dutch railways. The 1100 is 14,18 meters long, has a total weight of 83 tons and a continues power rating of 1898,9kW. The maximum speed is 130km/h.

PictureThe eloc series 1200. They started builting this series from 1952, a total of 25 were delivered. The 1200 is 18,09 meters long, has a total weight of 108 tons and has a continues power rating of 2208kW. The maximum speed is restricted to 135km/h, but the engine can run up to 150km/h.
 
1300
PictureThe eloc series 1300 is the longest and heaviest electric engine of the dutch railways, between 1952 and 1956, 16 of these locomotives were delivered. The 1300 is 18,95 meters long, has a total weight of 111 tons and has a continues power rating of 2848,3kW. The maximum speed is 135km/h.

Picture The series 1600 were built by Alsthom between 1981 and 1983, a total of 58 were delivered. Al locomotives of the series 1600 were named after a city or town and decorated with their coat of arms. The locomotive 1652 is named after the city Utrecht, that is the reason why the Rail club Utrecht has the 1652 as its logo. At this moment the 1600 series wich are sold to NS-cargo are being repainted in NS-cargo red.
The 1600 is 17,64 meters long, has a total weight of 83 tons and has a power rating of 4540kW. The maximum speed is restricted to 160km/h, but the 1600 has a maximum speed of 180km/h.

1700
PictureThe 1700 is built between 1992 and 1994 by Alsthom, a total of 81 loc's of this series were delivered. The 1700 The 1700 is just slightly different from the 1600 series. The 1700 is 17,64 meters long, has a total weight of 86 ton and a continues power rating of 4540kW. The maximum speed is restricted to 160km/h, but the 1600 has a maximum speed of 180km/h.
PictureThe 3000 series has been used by the dutch mail service, the coach can load up to 15 tons of cargo and it can pull up to 200 ton of coupled carriages. The 3000 has a length of 26,40 meters, has a total weight of 52 tons and has a continues power rating of 508kW. The maximum speed is 140km/h.

Picture This type of motor coach is the newest motor coach from the NS, a total of 50 mDDM coaches have been ordered. Characteristic for this coach are the six axles, they are mounted in pairs. Each of these axles are equipped with one motor, wich made it possible to add a deck with passenger compartment on top of the motor deck. The motor coach has a total length of 101,09 meters, it has a total weight of 218 tons and a continues power rating of 2400kW. The maximum speed is 140km/h.
